DONATION to WALK Community Project Fund

WALK’s mission is: “We are leaders in a movement for change, empowering people with disabilities to live self-determined lives in an equal and inclusive society.” (www.walk.ie)

WALK’s projects are inclusive, and both service users and the local community benefit from them. Last year, for example, WALK accessed this fund to create a calendar that showcased service user artwork created under the theme of hope and resilience. The calendar was sold in the local community and funds made went back into pot! They are doing another one this year, and every little helps supporting this initiation.
